Everyone pins the same country.
Closest pin wins.

Find me

We name a country — or a city. You find it on the map. Drop a pin on your phone, then watch the TV show exactly how lost everyone was — in kilometres.

How a round goes

  1. Get a country

Everyone gets the same name at the same time.

  2. Drop a pin

Zoom in on your phone and tap where you think it is.

  3. Watch the reveal

The TV shows every pin and how far off it landed. Closest wins the round.

All the rules
  1. The host picks countries or cities (capitals, or big cities from Osaka to Chicago), then the region (the whole world or one continent), difficulty, map style, rounds and timer.
  2. Everyone gets the same country. Zoom and drag the map on your phone, then tap to drop a pin.
  3. Lock it in before time runs out. A pin inside the country (or within 25 km of it) scores 1,000 points.
  4. Missed? The farther your pin is from the border, the fewer points. The TV shows every pin and how far off it landed.
  5. Most points after the last round wins — plus bragging rights for knowing where Chad is.

So, what is it?

Find me is a free geography party game for 1 to 12 players. The TV names a country. Everyone zooms and drags the map on their own phone and drops a pin where they think it is. Pin inside the country, or within 25 km of its border, and you score the full 1,000 points. Miss, and the points drop the further you are from the border. Then the TV lights the country up and drops every pin on the map, farthest first, with a line and the distance in km.

Pick your corner of the world

The host picks what to find, and where from:

  • Countries or cities — Countries: pin inside the border. Cities: capitals, or 500 big cities (we tell you the country, so they're stricter). Get within 100 km for full points; a capital is worth nothing past 2,000 km, a big city past 1,000. Yes, South Africa has three capitals.
  • Whole world — 220 countries and territories, from Russia to Tuvalu.
  • One continent — Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America or Oceania. The scoring gets stricter, because 500 km off in Europe is a much bigger miss than 500 km off on a world map.
  • Easy, Medium or Hard — From "everyone knows Brazil" to "Nauru, anyone?".
  • Borders or coastlines only — With borders you recognise the shapes; with coastlines only, good luck finding Belgium.

Nothing repeats within a game, and nothing on the map is labelled. That's the game.

Before you press start

Everyone plays at the same time. Nobody waits for their turn, and the round ends as soon as the last person locks in.

Big countries are not free points. A pin anywhere inside Russia scores the same 1,000 as a pin inside Vatican City, and tiny countries get 25 km of grace, because no finger can tap Monaco precisely.

Find me is not GeoGuessr. There are no Street View photos to read. You get a name and have to know where it is. If your group likes GeoGuessr, you'll like arguing about this.
