The Story Behind lesury
We'll admit it: we love party games, but we have the attention spans of a goldfish.
Dusty boxes, missing tokens, and someone inevitably asking "wait, whose turn is it?" for the fifth time... we'd had enough. The best part of a game night is actually playing, not the setup.
So we fixed it. We wanted games that start in 30 seconds flat. No apps to download, no accounts to create, and definitely no 'I need to delete some photos first' storage warnings. Just pure, unadulterated chaos.
How We Play
We eliminated the "board" part of "board games" entirely by splitting the action into two parts:
- The Shared Stage: Your TV, laptop, or projector becomes the main arena where the action (and the drama) happens.
- The Personal Controller: Your smartphone becomes your hand of cards, your buzzer, or your weapon of choice.
Just scan a QR code and you're in. It bridges the nostalgia of gathering with friends with the power of modern web tech—minus the cleanup.
Our Philosophy
We believe technology should get out of the way so you can get into the game. Whether you're at a family dinner in Austin or a house party in Berlin, our mission is to turn any screen into a core memory (or a core argument).
Built with probably too much caffeine in Prague. Ruining friendships worldwide.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does lesury work?
One person opens lesury on a big screen (TV, laptop, or projector) to host the party. Everyone else scans the QR code. Your phone is the controller, the big screen is the arena.
Do I need to download an app?
Absolutely not. We hate apps as much as you do. Everything runs directly in your mobile browser. Just scan and play.
Is it free?
Yes. We'd rather you spend your money on snacks anyway. All games in the library are free.
How many people can play?
Check the individual games, but usually anywhere from 2 to whoever managed to fit in your living room. You can also play solo if you enjoy the crushing weight of your own thoughts.
What devices are supported?
If it has a modern web browser and an internet connection, it works.
- For the "Board": Smart TVs, laptops, tablets, or PCs.
- For the "Controller": Any smartphone or tablet (iOS or Android).
Are you adding more games?
Always. We're constantly brewing up new ways to test your friendships. See what's coming soon in the Games Library.
Can I suggest a new game idea?
Please do. If you have an idea so good it keeps you awake at night, pitch it to us!
